Kai 7300 Professional Scissors 12"
The 7000 Series is a new generation of professional tailoring shears. The blades are made of AUS8A stainless steel (4 mm. in thickness) and hardened up to 58+/-1 HRC. The shears are elegantly matte finished and equipped with a patented duplex interlock fastener that prevents the screw from becoming loose. The fastener is also heat treated and hardened up to 45 +/- 1 HRC.
The Kai 7300 is the 12-inch professional scissor that is designed for use on thicker, more difficult fabrics or on multiple layers. It is also considered an ideal length for upholsterers and upholstery projects.
The 7000 series scissors, including the Kai 7300, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel. The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge. The carbon also allows the finer edge to be more durable, which in-turn, extends the cutting life of these professional scissors.
