Nice iron. The weight gives crisp creases. The steam takes just a minute or two to get used to, but works great!

I am satisfied with the Silver Star Iron. We had previously used a Hi-Steam Naomoto model which costs over $600 now. This unit is very comparable for a fraction of the price. Seems to be a very good substitute at a much better cost. Lots of steam and feels solid to use. The unit arrived in 3 days and was easy to install and get going. I am very pleased so far!

Dependable and inexpensive I love this Iron
Silverstar ES-85 Iron is a workhorse in our tailoring business. We had used an old Reimers Generator and Steam Iron which we had for over 30 years until it died on us. Decided to give the Silverstar a try, as the price was right. It gives us ample steam and is a very solid unit. I was surprised at the quality and, and it seems to hold up just fine. For the price I would be pleased if it lasted a couple of years and just replace with a new one...but instead I bought another last week to keep as a spare! Couldn't be happier!!!!!
